Self-custody

HOODBACK is a self-custody wallet. Your recovery phrase and private keys are generated in your browser and encrypted on your device with your password. They are never sent to us or any server.

Data we collect

We do not collect names, emails, addresses, browsing history or analytics about you. We have no accounts and no user database.

Blockchain network

To show balances and send transactions, the wallet talks directly to the public Robinhood Chain network and block explorer. Your public wallet address and transactions are visible on the public blockchain, as with any crypto wallet.

Chrome extension

The HOODBACK extension only opens the wallet in a compact window. It does not read web pages, inject scripts, track tabs, or request access to your browsing data. Its single purpose is launching the HOODBACK wallet interface.

Local storage

Your encrypted wallet and token list are saved in your browser's local storage. Removing the wallet or clearing site data deletes them. Keep your recovery phrase safe — we cannot recover it.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or share any personal data, because we do not collect it.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will appear on this page with a new date.
